Looking North from Lakeshore Road
Construction in the park continues in the area around Lakeshore Road. Here are a couple of photos, taken the morning of April 11, 2011.

WCNA Purchases Bench
The WCNA has purchased a beautiful bench for the Walkers Creek park.
The majority of the funding for the bench came from our 2010 Plant Sale which was hosted by WCNA executive member Della Trojan.
In the fall of 2010, City staff installed the bench along the recently updated area in Cherie Rd. Park which runs immediately north of Cindy Drive.
The next time you are in that area, take a break and have a rest on the WCNA bench, listening to the relaxing sound of the creek.
