Rankin Cancer Run on May 28th

In six short years, this all volunteer effort has raised close to two million dollars for Niagara region hospitals and cancer care, collected over 24 tons of donated food for Community Care and proven that people who believe and care, can accomplish wondrous results.

With the administrative headquarters in the Niagara Street Lion’s Club, this annual event saw over 7600 participants ‘Take the Run” in 2010 and hopes are high that this number and its accompany success will continue to grow in 2011. The Start and Finish line is at the Lion’s Club and our neighbourhood can be proud of its cooperative attitude in encouraging this remarkable event.

On Saturday May 28th, as a runner, a sponsor of a runner, a proud neighbour wishing to support the event, consider being at the Lion’s Club, with a Community Care food donation and loud cheers for the participants.
